Treasury Auctions

Treasury bills and Treasury notes are either purchased through an auction or on the secondary market being facilitated by the Central Bank of Belize.

Treasury bill and Treasury note auctions are announced in the Gazette, local newspapers and on this website. To purchase Treasury bills and Treasury notes, the buyer must offer a formal bid for the amount they wish to pay per bill. If this bid is successful, the buyer pays the bid amount to the Central Bank of Belize.
