• Applying for a Job at the Central Bank

  • You have the option of applying online, through email, or submitting completed application onsite or to P.O. Box 852, Belize City, BELIZE.

    Vacancies are advertised on the Bank’s website, social media, and local newspapers.
     

    A confirmation email will be sent to confirm receipt of your application. Should you not receive a confirmation email, kindly contact us.

    Your application will be kept on file for twelve months.

  • Recruitment Process

  • Our selection process involves two components:

    1. Face-to-face discussion: If shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview by our Recruitment Officer at least one week prior to the scheduled interview date. You may have one or multiple interviews throughout the selection process.
    The interview is an opportunity to gauge your capacity to perform in the role and ascertain your suitability to best  fill the position. It will also demonstrate if you will be a fit with the Bank’s culture. The Interview Panel normally consists of three members.

    2. Written Assessment - You will be required to sit an assessment to test your technical aptitude for the position immediately after the face-to-face component.

  • Successful candidates will be subjected to a police background check, reference checks, and medical examination.

     

  • Recruitment Process Timeline

     

  • Depending on the level, some positions may be filled within four weeks. Our Recruitment Officer will provide an update on the status of the selection process.

  • Offer of Employment

     

  • The Central Bank will contact the successful applicant verbally, follow by an email and a  formal employment offer letter.
