Requirements for Foreign Exchange Permits
The Exchange Control Department of the Central Bank facilitates the approvals of current and capital transactions dealing with Foreign Exchange XCH1 Permits. Below is the XCH1 Permit for current and capital transactions and guideline procedures.
Steps to request Foreign Exchange XCH-1 Permits
1. Complete application form for foreign exchange permit
2. Gather supporting documentation
Contact the Exchange Control Department at the Central Bank for a consultation on your application and for list of supporting documentation required.
3. Email completed form and supporting documentation
Email the completed Foreign Exchange XCH-1 Permit, supporting documentation, and the name of domestic bank or remittance service provider where you intend to purchase foreign exchange to [email protected]
SUBJECT TITLE: “NAME OF THE COMPANY”, “APPLICANT NAME” and “RECIPIENT NAME”.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: “NAME OF THE COMPANY” and “THE NAME OF THE TYPE OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENT”.
Also, if you are requesting more than one Foreign Exchange XCH-1 Permit, kindly send separate emails with supporting documents for each transaction.
Forms received with proper supporting documentation will be processed within one business day. Approved electronic Foreign Exchange XCH-1 Permit will be emailed to the applicant.
