What do you do?
I am an Internal Auditor in the Internal Audit Department. My role is to conduct both operational and financial audit engagements within the Bank to provide risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight to add value and improve the Bank’s operations.
What part of your work do you most enjoy?
My role allows me to have the opportunity to assess the various departments within the Bank expanding my knowledge of how processes function within each department. It also gives me the opportunity to increase my networking within the Bank.
Tell us about your career at the Central Bank.
I had the opportunity to do my internship in the Banking and Currency Department back in 2014. Four years later, I applied for a vacant post of Internal Auditor and was one of the successful candidates. I believe having previous external experience allowed me to bring useful knowledge to my department. While working here, I’ve had the opportunity to be a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and I feel my managers provide support for both my academic endeavors and my career development.
